) School fees loans

This loan is strictly for education purposes. It enables members to sponsor their children and themselves for primary, secondary, college and university education. This loan product shall be available for even beneficiaries of other loan products; this means that a loan client can be allowed to benefit concurrently from more than one loan product. However, this shall be open to only clients with good credit history and those with capacity to repay the loans. They are offered at an annual interest rate of 36% on reducing balance method.

) Commercial loans

These are extended to members who own businesses and need working capital for their expansion. To business owners, proper assessment of business premises and type of business to be financed is properly done for decision making. They are offered at an annual interest rate of 36% on reducing balance method.

) Agriculture loans

These are extended to both subsistence and commercial farmers to boost their projects like poultry,piggery,floriculture,aquaculture,apiculture and other forms of farming (both crop and animal farming). They are offered at an annual interest rate of 36% on reducing balance method.

) Asset acquisition loans

These loans include acquisition of motor vehicles,machinery,land and other assets that are fixed/non current in nature. They are offered at an annual interest rate of 36% on reducing balance method.

) Home improvement loans

These loans are for purposes of improving homes such as purchase of houses or completion of houses under construction, mattresses, water harvesting tanks, solar loans, iron sheets, blankets, biogas, plastic chairs, and tents e.t.c. They are offered at an annual interest rate of 36% on reducing balance method.

) Emergency loans

These loans are extended to customers with unforeseen occurrences and must be having a good credit history (those who have ever accessed a loan) within the SACCO or a good saving culture (new applicants). They are offered at an annual interest rate of 60%

) Motorcycle loans (Boda boda)

These are extended to all those within the transport sector as their source of income. The main target population is the youths. They are offered at an annual interest rate of 24%.
